This project transformed a long-standing rental property into a personalized home for a young couple. Working with limited space, we set out to create a kitchen that maximized storage efficiency while serving as a place for both meal preparation and entertaining. The island, featuring quartzite on one side and white oak on the other, provides ample workspace and invites gathering around with a glass of wine as the garlic is chopped and the pasta starts to boil. A consistent material palette of exposed brickwork, creamy neutrals, black industrial accents, and warm wood tones connects the kitchen to the dining and living areas seamlessly. The result is an approachable and functional space with refined details, a reflection of the clients' lifestyle.
