In a tight real estate market, the clients searched for their ‘forever home’. Despite the perfect location, the property needed a holistic design vision to truly feel like home. Outdated styles were replaced with warm minimalism, featuring natural elements like white oak timbers, geometric plaster forms, and striking stonework. Structural changes opened up the kitchen, dining, and family room to create a spacious gathering space for the clients’ large family. Two islands - one for cooking and one for entertaining - doubled the kitchen’s size. The cathedral ceiling in the family room make an impact, while the white oak timbers add familiarity and ease to the space. Currently under construction, this project promises both comfort and chic for the growing family.
